Leech wins British Horror Award, appears at FrightFest, Tampere, Brooklyn Horror
Leech tells the story of an elderly blind woman who is unaware of the stranger secretly living in her home.
The short horror film, which I had the joy of writing & directing, was featured at BAFTA and AMPAS qualifying festivals all over the world.
Notable screenings include the iconic horror festival FrightFest (in Liecester Square, London), Tampere Film Festival (one of the largest short film festivals in Europe), and Brooklyn Horror (a premiere horror event in New York).
The film has gone on to win the British Horror Award at the British Horror Film Festival, which recognises Achievement in Film on a Low Budget. Leech was produced for just £5000, a testament to how far a shoe-string budget can go to craft cinematic storytelling and visuals.
